Wee Bit of Me Wed...Thursday!

{one} what is your biggest pet peeve?
idiocy. rudeness. blatant disregard for other's feelings.

{two} what is your favorite dessert?
just one? so hard to choose...but i always say my very favorite is my mimi's chocolate chess pie. deeeelicious.

{three} what is the first thing you notice about people?
their clothes/general appearance.

{four} are you usually late, early or right on time?
i always feel like i'm running late even if i'm not.

{five} have you ever fired a gun?
sure. i live in mississippi, so its kind of a tradition for your dad or boyfriend to take you shooting. i've shot many different types of rifles, but not really any handguns.

{six} are you right-handed or left-handed?
right.

{seven} which do you prefer: coke or pepsi?
coke products FOR SURE. (except i love mountain dew) but i'm off the coke....for four weeks now...went cold turkey. sooo hard.
my heart.

{eight} do you dance crazy when no one is looking?
everyday. and even sometimes when people are looking. i get in these moods sometimes...

{nine} what’s your favorite movie snack?
twizzlers. reese's pieces. sour patch kids.

{ten} do you scream on roller coasters?
yes. but normally it's a half laugh/half scream type of thing. oh, and i close my eyes. :)

Love.

This is one of the coolest music videos I've ever seen. I just love the stop-motion photography. The song's pretty great, too. :) My favorite part is toward the end when they're "dancing".

Top 2 Tuesday

Wow. This is gonna be sooo hard for me. If you've read even ONE of my previous posts, then you understand how important music is to me. It's the air I breathe. Music is the one thing that always "gets" me. Anyway, today, for top 2 Tuesday, I must choose 2 of my favorite songs. I don't think there's any way I can possibly choose just 2, so I'm going to go for the two that have been in my head (and my heart) lately. And I'll probably add plenty other ones at the bottom for "honorable mention".

{one}

"Let the Rain" by Sara Bareilles....I am OBSESSED with her new album. I love EVERY.SINGLE.SONG. There were two that stood out to me immediately, and this was one of those two. I think it's mainly because of the lyrics in the first verse. Just seems like they came straight from me.

I wish I were pretty,
I wish I were brave,
If I owned this city
I'd make it behave

If I were fearless,
I'd speak my truth
The world would hear this
That's what I wish, I'd do

{two}
"Firework" by Katy Perry... I love her new album as well. Mostly her music is just fun and flirty, but this one really has a meaning. I love the whole "just do your thing and people will love you" message. And it's still a fun song. :)

Honorable Mentions:
"I Stand", "Brave", and "Where Do I Begin" by Idina Menzel
"Gravity" and "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" by John Mayer
"Funny Girl" by Barbra Streisand
"Black Water" by The Doobie Brothers
"Faithfully" (or anything else) by Journey
"The Walk" by Imogen Heap
"Since You've Been Gone" by Theory of a Deadman
"Haunted" by Kelly Clarkson

Oh, who am I kidding? I could never pick just one or two favorites.
Sad.

Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

Yep, it's that time again, folks! :)

{one}
Select Hospital called me today! YAY! Long story short...there was a miscommunication and I was actually intended to start last Monday. Since I never got that call letting me know, of course, I missed it. So I now have to wait until the next Orientation starts...October 11. SO. That is my official start date. I am nervous, excited, worried, nonchalant...about a million other emotions. Whew, I've really gotta get a grip on myself before then, right? :)

{two}
I have finally set an Oxford visit date! YAY! Amanda asked me to come support her during her Bridal Photograph session on October 8, and obviously, I will be there. I am so excited to see my people again. Especially those sweet Farley babies! I miss them SO SO SO much!

{three}
I'm eating Pretzel M&M's right now. I feel....naughty. Isn't that crazy? Just a few months ago I would have knocked out these m&m's and then gone and eaten a piece of cake or something too and never have blinked an eye. I guess that's what being on a diet for almost a month does to you. You feel incredibly guilty for pretty much everything. If I miss working out a day...I feel terrible about myself. If I eat something that's not "healthy" (aka M&M's) then I feel like I'm doing something very wrong. BUT. I don't feel bad enough to stop right now. Plus, I literally jogged/biked over 8 mi today at the gym. Burned about 850 calories. So you take that, guilt. P.S. I haven't weighed yet for this week, but so far I've lost 10 lbs. ;) Only 20 more to go for Amanda's wedding and then 40 more after that.

{four}
Are you like me? Do you listen to songs and no matter what's going on in your life the lyrics to that song are PERFECT? Here's some I heard today and they just HIT me. Not because I have anything particularly terrible going on right now, but just because of their beauty.
Time
to tell me the truth
to burden your mouth with what you say
no pieces of paper in the way
"Between the Lines" by Sara Bareilles

These are fun, but have a deeper meaning too.

I'm not calling you a liar,
Just don't lie to me.
I'm not calling you a thief,
Just don't steal from me,
I'm not calling you a ghost,
Just stop haunting me,
And i love you so much,
I'm gonna let you,
Kill me.
"Liar" by Florence + The Machine

Anyway, I'm crazy. And those lyrics were just the ones that stuck out lately.

{five}
The weather here today was WONDERFUL. For those of you wondering, I live in central Mississippi and it has been unbearably HOT lately. Like, upper 90's every.single.day. Today, it barely got over 70 all day! And a wind was blowing and it was amazing. I actually left the house with a long-sleeved shirt on! Even right now I'm wearing leggings and a long-sleeved tshirt. I am so happy about this. Maybe, just maybe, it will actually begin to feel like Fall now!

{six}
Glee. I love it so much. And I am so ready for tomorrow night's episode. It's a Britney Spears themed episode. Aaaahh!  I heart Britney's music (c'mon, I'm such a a 90's kid) and I am so happy to see my favorite show performing her! Just check out this preview and tell me you don't think it looks AWESOME.

{seven}
Just for fun, I've started re-watching Grey's from Season 1. It's been, oh, about 3 years since I've watched it from the beginning so I'm also re-acquainting myself with my favorite quotes. Like these:

Meredith: Stop looking at me like that.
Derek: Like what?
Meredith: Like you've seen me naked.

Derek (to Addison): If Satan were to take physical form, he'd be you. Everywhere. All the time.

Bailey (to interns): Nobody holds a scalpel until I'm so happy I'm Mary freakin' Poppins!

Ahhh, Love.

Until next time, blog friends! Oh and if you're a new reader, please feel free to comment! I'd love to know all of you. :)

meet mark.

So, some of you may already know, but I am a mark. representative! A friend of mine from Oxford was a regional sales person or other and recruited me. I LOVE this makeup! I love that it's marketed toward 20-something year olds just like ME. I love that it's cheap and gorgeous, yet real quality makeup and clothing/accessories/etc. So, I just wanted to show some of you guys the new stuff out. If you're interested in any of the things listed/pictured, go ahead to my mark. store. You can order everything through that site!

My VERY favorite makeup I own: I-Mark custom pick eyeshadow

They're huge--a square inch of color-- and only $5 each! You can pick and choose which ones you prefer and put them in the palette of your choice (shown at bottom of pic). Some of my favorite colors are: corset, night owl, nomadic, piccadilly and retro peacock!

A new addition: Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette

This wonderful palette can be used anywhere on the face! They're cream cubes so they can be used for eyeshadow, blush, or eyeliner. The part I love--they're shimmery. :)

Love this lip gloss! I don't wear lipstick at all, so I love to have lip gloss in all different shades! The tinted marker beside it is wonderful for those times when you know you can't reapply often. It looks and acts exactly like a magic marker, except for your lips! It's a lip stain, technically, and I always layer gloss on top of it!

My friend Chelsea told me about this and I love it! It's an all-in-one easy cover-up. I use it mostly for concealer, but it can be used for foundation as well.

You know those days when you need to add a little makeup/coverage but don't feel like putting on foundation and concealer and all that? Here's the perfect solution: tinted moisturizer. I use it a lot during the summertime because it's always SPF 15!

Don't you just adore this bag?

I wear this necklace constantly. I have it in silver and Rachel has it in gold. :)

I pretty much love anything in turquoise.

I WANT THESE SO BADLY. I haven't saved up for them yet, but just you wait. I'll be wearing them with something fabulous soon!

For those of you obsessed with headbands and hair accessories, like me, then you'll love this one.

And of course, scarves. Ahh, the love I have for scarves. Little ones, big ones, I don't care. I just love them.
And these are especially adorable.

You may also know that Ashley Greene (from Twilight) is the new mark. spokesperson. She is gorgeous anyway, and has great taste in makeup! Love her!

Our new brand ambassador wears our boldest red lip for the season. Get Ashleys Power Pout (it starts with smooth skin) and start shopping the full line of 8 luminous lipclick shades in an ingenious magnetic case.

So, again, if you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask! Go ahead and visit my mark. store for anything! :)

Wee Bit of Me Wednesday

{one} what is your happiest childhood memory?
I have so many! I had a great childhood. I guess some of the ones I remember best are of softball. See, my parents met playing softball, and I was born their softball-loving daughter. Growing up, my parents always coached me and it was real family-time, ya know? I hated it at times (my mom was very bossy), but I do cherish those memories now.

{two} what is your middle name?
LeeAnn. Yes, the "A" must be capitalized.

{three} what’s the habit you’re most proud of breaking?
Biting my fingernails. I was a terrible biter up until Nursing School. Yep, one look at the things I was about to stick my hands into and they came nowhere near my mouth again.

{four} what do you order when you order chinese food?
The only Chinese food I've ever really had is Buffet-style. I have to be in the mood for it, but when I am...I EAT A LOT. I love eggrolls and rice and noodles and my favorite: general cso's chicken! :)

{five} what’s the best/favorite bargain you’ve ever found at a garage sale or thrift store?
My bedside table was bought for $1.50 back in the day. My mom and I sanded it down and painted it (it has since been painted 2 or 3 different colors) and I still have it in my room to this day. I love it!

{six} what’s the best costume you’ve ever worn?
Hmmm... I guess that would have to the one I wore last year. Amanda, Drew, and I were the Ninja Turtles! Amanda and I made the tops (shells) and the colored ties they wore. Everybody said we looked great, and best of all, it was COMFORTABLE! I despise being uncomfortable at a party, especially one at your own house! :)

From L to R: Me, Drew, and Amanda
{seven} who’s your favorite game show host?
I don't really watch "game shows" but my favorite reality show host is Jeff Probst for Survivor!

{eight} what’s your favorite breakfast food?
Pretty much anything my Dad cooks. But I always say my very favorite is S.O.S. (aka Shit On a Shingle...basically it's gravy and sausage/hamburger on toast)

{nine} what’s your least favorite word?
This pains me to even type it... c*nt. I HATE THAT WORD. It's just so derogatory.

{ten} describe something that happened to you for which you have no explanation.
I tore both of my ACL's within a year and had to sit out of a year in sports. Sucks.

Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

Every Monday I look forward to Rachel's posts about Miscellany Monday. I love that this is a very simple way to just say what's been happening in life and what's been going on in your brain. I've even attempted to do one before, though not quite as elegantly as she. Today is the first time that I'm linking back to the original blogger, though. I'm hoping that I can get some more followers; I need an audience! Haha, ok, so on with it.

{one} I STILL DON'T HAVE A JOB. This is getting crazy. Yeah, I just posted about getting a call-back from Select Specialty Hospital, and I assume that is still in the works...but here we are, 2 weeks later, and I haven't heard a word. But, that is ok. Because I got a call from Baptist last week and they wanted an interview. At first, I wasn't going to go in, but my Mom convinced me that an interview wouldn't hurt anything and I might be surprised. BOY WAS I. The moment I met the Nurse Manager, I liked her. She was young-ish and very personable. We got along splendidly. And the job sounds wonderful! It's on an ORTHO unit, which is technically Med/Surg, but what I'm most excited about is the fact that it's more of a Rehab-type floor. Not just post-surgical care, but a group atmosphere with the patients. And they have SLOW weekends! That means I'd only be required to work one, MAYBE two weekends a month! For a single gal looking for her prince charming, that sounds promising. So...I'm actually hoping that Select will wait a little longer to call me, because I'd really like to hear back from Baptist before I make that decision. Baptist said the earliest they'd let me know is Friday, so I still have some waiting to do. Oh well, pray for me.

{two} Pandora Radio. I love it. I have my favorite stations that I listen to constantly. Want to know them? uno: Idina Menzel Radio (obviously) Major Meg Love for this one. Perfect mix of her pop album stuff and Broadway classics. Makes my heart happy.
dos: Sara Bareilles Radio...Another great eclectic mix of light, fun music with witty lyrics. Just like Sara herself.
tres: Glee Cast Radio...Do I really need to explain myself here?
quatro: Alanis Morissette Radio...Don't you love old-school 90's pop? This has that mix of angry girl music and old songs that you still know all the words to and you didn't even realize it.
cinco: Ray LaMontagne Radio: Big Fat Duh. 'Nuff said.

{three} I need a new blog background/template etc. I really want to order a custom one, but back to the job-less thing...I'm broke. So I'll have to wait on that. But I just feel like none of the free ones really express ME. Hopefully I'll be able to afford one soon, because I've already got one worked up in my head--just need somebody to make it for me!

{four} Toothaches SUCK. For those of you who don't know, I have the absolute WORST teeth in the history of man. I am 22 (ok, almost 23) and I've already had a root canal and 4 crowns. All the dentists tell me the same thing: brush twice daily, floss, stop drinking cokes, blah, blah, blah. I DO ALL THESE THINGS. And I still have numerous cavities. Well, on Friday one of my teeth began THROBBING INCESSANTLY and I couldn't even sleep. Made an appointment today, and of course, I need a root canal and crown. Pretty soon I'm going to have more fake teeth in my mouth than real ones. Good thing Baby Sister is going to school to be a dental hygienist because I'm gonna need the hook-up pretty soon.

{five} I want more followers. I have thoughts. And I think they're pretty interesting. So I want other people to read mine. And comment. I'm willing to return the favor, PEEPS! So, spread the word, Meg @ Meg's Musings is a cool kitten! Haha

{six} Last, but not least, I have had a MAJOR craving the past couple of days for one of these:

Red Velvet Cupcake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Oh, man. Except, I want mine to be about 3 times that size. Sad news: it's definitely NOT on the diet. I've considered making some the Weight Watchers way (replacing oil with applesauce and using egg substitute) but, I'm afraid they just won't hit the spot like I'm hoping. Sad, sad, So very sad.

Anyway, I guess I better get my Fat Butt up off of the couch and go to the gym. Beauty is Pain.

Sassy

While browsing some of the other blogs I follow, I came upon this jewel:

HOW FUNNY?? I literally laughed out loud. And then I went and checked out this one on youtube:

EVEN BETTER, RIGHT? I love funny videos.

Hate

Yes, I know, what a lovely name for a blog post.

But...I'm feeling weird today. Do you have that friend....that one that you used to be really close to and now you're not? That one that was your best friend and even though you had your differences you still wish ya'll talked? And does that friend have new friends and it really pisses you off? Because how can someone just erase you from their life, right? I mean, I don't pretend to be perfect, but I'm still a good person. And I've always been a good friend, even if you didn't think it at the time I was telling you that sleeping with that guy was a bad idea.

I know it's bad to keep all this jealousy and loathing inside, so I'm letting it AAALLLL out tonight, mmmk?

I don't necessarily mind that we don't talk anymore because to tell you the truth we didn't get along all that well anyway. The part that pisses me off is that she's happy with other friends who can't POSSIBLY be as cool as me. And I'm here, in Madison, alone, and my sister/mother is best friend and it SUCKS because the one friend I do have down here she keeps STEALING back.

I hate that she had a boyfriend too. She should be really unhappy without me. And unhappy with her life since she's still in the same place doing the same damn thing she did 2 years ago, and I have definitely moved on with my life.

She also should NOT make up with friends that she talked shit to me about. If those new-old friends knew the things she said about them...they wouldn't come close to her again.

Also, WHY are you always on my FB newsfeed? I have about 500 other friends and of course, the FB Gods decide to smite me everyday and show me just how fucking fantastic your life without me is. Fuck You, FB Gods. And Fuck You, Old Friend.

I'm better off without you.

(Now, while all the things in this blog are true (at least in my perspective), I may be exaggerating my feelings just a bit. It's just that kind of day. No need to send flowers or chocolates, I'm fine. Really.)

too much time on my hands

{one} have you ever won a trophy? if yes, for what?
lots and lots and lots. i was a big sports player in high school and won many awards for that. i also kept a 3.85 GPA so i won lots of academic stuff too. aaaand i was in the band. i know, over-achiever.

{two} what was your favorite subject in school?
Biology II with Mrs. Ratliff was the best time I had in any class in high school. Love her and miss her. But I know she's smiling down on me now. :) she knew I was gonna end up here (as an RN) before I did, I'm sure.

{three} what time do you get up in the morning?
see, i don't have a job yet (well, i haven't started a job yet). so i don't have anything to do. so i sleep until i wake up. lately i've been sleeping until about 10:30 or so.

{four} if you could open your own business, what would it be?
a music and book store. two of my absolute loves in this world.

{five} if you could spend the evening with one rock star/band, who would it be?
hmmmm... a few years ago i would have said tyler connelly and theory of a deadman, but today...i say IDINA MENZEL. so what if she's not technically a "rock" star? she's a rockstar to me. and i want to hang out with her.

{six} what sitcom character reminds you of you?
um, none? i would love to say that i'm JUST like rachel berry from glee cause that would mean i can actually sing. or perhaps addison from private practice because i'd have my dream job and my dream boyfriend (sam=sexy). or maybe sookie stackhouse from true blood cause that would mean i've got two hot vamps after me. but alas, my life and personality are way too boring to resemble a character.

{seven} what are the 3 most important things to you?
obviously, my family, friends, and my health.
but thinking outside of the box: music, good books, and the bohemian ideals of life (as outlined in "La Vie Boheme")

{eight} chips or popcorn?
easy: chips. i love, love, love chips. i don't feel like my sandwich is complete without them.

{nine} have you ever ordered anything from an infomercial?
never. told you i'm boring.

{ten} what is one thing that you are grateful for today?
my stereo. i'm blasting florence + the machine and dancing around the room. :)

Miscellany Monday

...Job...
So to start off with, I guess I'm going to announce it: I got a job! Select Specialty Hospital called me last week. I had to finish some paperwork--mainly a drug screen and background check. Those things are done, so hopefully I'll be getting a call very soon. I want to start ASAP seeing as how I literally have $4.22 in my bank account right now. The job is basically Med/Surg at a long-term care facility. Definitely NOT my dream job, but again...I need experience and money. I know that ultimately I'll get where I'm headed...which is Labor and Delivery all the way. Pray they call back soon and want me to start!

...Music...
I haven't done a Music Monday in a while, and I decided not to turn this into one, but I really want to share some recent loves with you all.
1. "Basket Case" by Sara Bareilles: Off of her new cd, I immediately fell in love with this one. She has done it again, folks. Really an amazing album.
2. "Dog Days are Over" by Florence + The Machine: I can't remember if I've mentioned this one before or not but it's been in my head for days...and I DON'T want it out. I can't stop listening to it, seriously!
3. "Raise Hell" by Head PE: This song serves no purpose except to make me run faster. I have been working out a lot lately (more about that in next subject) and this song gets me going. It's vulgar and cusses a lot, but I can't help it motivates me. Don't judge me.

...Diet...
As of September 1, I officially started dieting. I had joined the gym in August and was going pretty regularly, but as I had not changed my diet, I wasn't losing any weight. So, like I said, now I'm doing both: diet and exercise. In fact, the whole family is (well, not really Mallory, but she's not home enough for it to matter). We're doing a cross between the Special K diet and counting calories/fat. I've been replacing at least one meal with cereal (my personal choice is multi-grain cheerios) and putting everything I eat into my calorie counter on my phone. I stay below 20g of fat and 1200 calories. I've also been working out every.single.day. I may miss one day a week, but only one. I go for at least 30 minutes a day and most days I do cardio for more than 45 minutes. I should be seeing results, right? Yeah, not so much so far. Since September 1, I've lost 2.8 lbs. I haven't yet weighed for this week so I'm hoping I'll have all-of-the-sudden dropped 5 lbs. Oh well, I'm going to keep it up because I really would like to be 30 lbs down by Amanda's wedding (December 11, 2010). The Maid of Honor should not resemble a bovine. Wish me luck and think positive thoughts for me!

...Television Season...
I love tv shows like a fat kid loves cake. Like Robert loves cake, even. I have about 15 shows that I watch on the regular. I know, right. Crazy. But I just can't help it. Aaaaand, guess what? It's about time for all my shows to start their new seasons! I am beyond thrilled! Next week will begin almost all of them. A few I'm SUPER excited for are: Glee, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, and Bones. So.so.so.excited.

Well, I guess that's all for now. Until I have more news, that's all you get.

15 Albums

Obviously, music is my thing, people.
I talk about it incessantly, I'm constantly singing, and I post lyrics as my thoughts to everything.

So...when I saw this subject, of course I had to complete it.

Basically, without thinking about it too much, write down 15 albums that will stay with you for the rest of your life. Include a brief description of what each means to you.

Here we go...

1) One of the first albums I remember ever LOVING was Aerosmith's Big Ones. I'm sure it was originally my mother's and I just happened to steal it to listen to in my brand new cd player in my car I got for my 16th birthday. Every single time I hear these songs, I sing along. I just can't help it.

2) But, the first album I ever got was for my 10th birthday... N'Sync. Ahhh, God bless those pretty boys. I danced and sang and loved every minute of their dirty lyrics that I didn't quite understand.

3)Hanson. C'mon. We all loved MmmmBop and we all had a favorite brother. Mine was Zac...I loved his long hair and his rhythms.

4) This one is a bit more recent. The first time I ever watched this movie, I knew I loved the music, but I didn't fully grasp the context of the story. I knew it was about AIDS and homosexuals, but I didn't "get" how important the message was. Years later, I re-watched it and of course, fell in love. This album will forever be in my heart and exhibit my outlook on life and love. RENT.

5) Also, a bit more recent: Idina Menzel. You all know how I feel about her and her music. I am in awe of her talent and down-to-earth-ness. This album's lyrics have touched me in a way that almost no other cd has. And the fact that she wrote them makes me feel even closer to her. Love, love, love "I Stand" by Idina Menzel.

6) This one I came across long after the band had broken up. "Stand Still, Look Pretty" by The Wreckers is a  new-age country album with striking melodies and heart-wrenching lyrics. I have several favorites and I will always love every single song.

7) Journey. C'mon. Who doesn't love Journey? And this was another one that was my mother's and ended up in my new cd player. No matter how old I get, I will adore this greatest hits cd.

8)The first cd that I ever bought with my own money: Autobiography by Ashlee Simpson. Say what you will, but I loved this cd. I was in my "punk" stage and devoured her raspy voice. Still listen to it all the time, so don't judge me.

9)You shut your mouth. I'm a 90's kid, what can I say?

10) One of the first really "hard rock" bands I got into, thanks to my mother, was Seether. I have loved them ever since.

11) Evanescence. I know they're melodramatic, but I can't help but love Amy Lee's voice. She could sing the ABC's and I'd be in love. This was one of the first albums that I had completely memorized within days.

12) Again with the showtunes, again with the Idina. But, I know for a fact that this book and play have touched me. The lyrics and story will stay with me for the rest of my life. Love, love, love WICKED.

13) Imogen Heap "Speak for Yourself". Aaaahh. The first "indie/alternative" singer I ever truly loved. This is the music that broadened my horizons. This is the album that started my love affair with this type of music. I will always treasure this album and the girl who introduced me--Sarah Mooney.

14) Theory of a Deadman, my favorite band. Chelsea introduced them to me and at first, I thought they were like any other rock band. Once I really started listening, of course I fell in love with their lyrics and with Tyler Connelly (the lead singer)'s voice.

15) Sara Bareilles. How is that every song she writes feels like it's out of my diary (or blog)? No matter who you are, you can appreciate "Gravity".

Ok, that's what I came up with quickly. I'm sure I'll think of SOOOO many more later, but for now.. that's what I got. And of course 15 couldn't encompass all of my musical tastes and loves, but I think this shows quite the variety of my spectrum of musical delights.

Tell me what you think about my selections and of course, do your own!

:)

Once again, here I am stealing posts from Rachel. Typical.

{one} what was your first pet and how did you come up with its name?
The first one I remember was a white dog with black spots. Her name was Katie. I don't remember if my parents named her that or if we got her from somebody who'd already named her.

{two} do you like your ice crushed or cubed?
Ideally, crushed.

{three} do you believe in love at first sight?
Um, no. I definitely believe in LUST at first sight. And many times lust can turn in to love. But I just don't believe that you can feel true love in an instant.

{four} do you have any nicknames?
Meg, Meggie, MegHead
My family and friends aren't very creative.

{five} what movie do you never get tired of watching?
RENT, Moulin Rouge!, Funny Girl, Enchanted, Center Stage, Underworld...The list goes on.

{six} how do you like your eggs cooked?
Scrambled. I'll eat them fried, but only if the white and yolk are completely done. Any runny-ness and I can't eat them.

{seven} are you named after anyone in particular?
My parents just randomly picked the name "Megan". LeeAnn is from my dad, Lee, and my mom's middle name, Ann. Again, they are sooo creative.

{eight} what are three things that you would like to do that you haven’t done yet?
get married and have lots of pretty babies, travel to NYC (perhaps even live there!), see Idina Menzel on Broadway

music, flowers, my fav tv shows, talking to an old friend.

{ten} what five things will you always find in your purse?
chapstick, gum, wallet, lots of old receipts, and my ipod
